The John Miles Charity stands as a testament to the enduring power of local compassion. Established over a century and a half ago, we continue the original mission of providing relief to those in need within our parish boundaries.

Registered with the Charity Commission under number 201079, our organisation operates from Pound House in the heart of Cranborne. We are governed by a dedicated board of trustees who ensure that John Miles' original vision continues to serve the most vulnerable members of our community.

Today, while the methods may have evolved, our core purpose remains unchanged: to alleviate poverty through direct financial support, providing grants that make a tangible difference in the lives of children, young people, the elderly, and those living with disabilities.
